I don’t study / I don’t study anymore / don’t study at Uni Stuttgart, am I allowed to use your service?

Yes, we also serve customers from other universities and non-students.

What kinds of payment are accepted?

We accept cash and card payment. Paying with your students ID-Card/ ECUS is not possible.

I only want to get a document scanned, is that possible at Kopierlädle?

Yes, it’s basically possible. But remember that this is also possible free of charge at the printers in the university’s study rooms. You probably won’t have to wait in line there either.

Which paper sizes do you offer?

We can color print documents in DIN A3 and smaller. Plots, like technical Drawings are available in DIN A2 to DIN A0, but only in black and white.

Thesises

I have a Thesis, that needs to be printed and bound, how long will this take?

Depending on the type of binding we will need 30 minutes to one full day.

What else do I have to consider when printing and binding final a thesis?

It’s best to bring the file with you on a USB drive that you leave with us until your order is finished.

My institute gave me guidelines for the binding that I don’t really understand.

Here too, it’s best to come by. We have already seen all the wishes that institutes at Uni Stuttgart could have.

My Institute gave me covers for the binding/ I have to have signed original documents incorporated into the binding.

Just bring them with you, our team usually knows what to do.

I’d rather print my thesis my self or have it already printed. Could I bring them over to you for binding?

Yes, we do also do just the binding, but only for paper size DIN A4. We also recommend to use 90 g/mm² paper.

I am not able to visit Kopierlädle in person. May I commission a third person to have my thesis printed and bound for me/ pick up my order?

Yes, of course.

Skriptshop

How long should it take until I receive my order/ can pick it up?

Since our Skriptshop isn’t automated and you need to pay in advance, you should allow one week for orders to be picked up. If you have chosen shipping, an additional 1 to 4 days may be added depending on where in Germany you live and whether a weekend is within the shipping period.

In short: if you can, it’s always easier to just visit us in person.

I am really in a hurry to submit my thesis and plan to order it from you via the Skriptshop.

Bad idea. We are surely able to help you but in any case that needs to be done quickly it’s mandatory to visit us in person or commission somebody to so for you.

How can I purchase something from your Skriptshop?

You can either pick from the scrips we offer or you upload your files you want to have printed. You can also select the type of paper or, if you wish, the binding for the document.

How does payment with the Skriptshop work?

At first your order will be processed by our staff, in this step the price will be determined. You then receive a payment request from us via email.
